What is a Custom CMS?

At Brightsite we use a custom content management system (CMS) as standard for all of our websites.
A CMS sits behind the website and is where a client logs into to change content – such as words, pictures and videos – on their website. Our CMSs also allow clients to manage their own onsite SEO, add and delete pages of their website, amend menus, contact details and much more.
